Northwest Ohio consists of multiple counties in the northwestern corner of the US state of Ohio. This area borders Lake Erie, Southeast Michigan, and Northeastern Indiana. Some areas are also considered the Black Swamp area. The Toledo metropolitan area is part of the region.

The northwest Ohio area is characterized by its diverse landscapes, cultural heritage, and economic significance. This region encompasses a mix of urban and rural areas, offering a blend of natural beauty and industrial activity. Cities like Toledo, located along the western shores of Lake Erie, serve as major economic hubs with a strong focus on manufacturing, transportation, and commerce. Though Toledo is an industrial city, Northwest Ohio is primarily agricultural with small centers of commerce distributed across region, with fertile farmland supporting the cultivation of crops like corn and soybeans.

The Maumee River and Lake Erie, are prominent waterways in the region, contributing to picturesque sceneries and recreational opportunities.
